Garneir Apricot PureActive Exfoliating Face scrub review

Just after the #HappyHair Challenge ,Garnier surprised me with a box which contained some delicious dried apricots and a tube of their new Apricot Face scrub. I can say that I was thinking of buying a scrub for myself as the pollution in Bangalore is taking a toll on my skin and I am having some breakout because of the clogged pores.

Garnier claims that the scrub has a power of thousands of apricot beads and will make your skin glow. This came just in time for me to actually get into my skincare mode and see if the claim is true.

Product:-
It is a creamy peach colour scrub with medium size apricot beads. The beads are slightly more abrasive than required for sensitive skin. It smells amazing and I like that it does not get all foamy though it does contain SLES.

This comes in a tube with a flip cap which is quite okay if you looking for a scrub to travels with.

My experience:-
It works in case of white heads, I do not have black heads so cannot comment for that. It does work on dead skin as you can feel your skin breath. I like that after scrubbing my face feels soft and normal not at all dry and stretchy that usually feels after scrubbing. I use it once a week.

I do feel that it is more abrasive than required, though it says that it is for all skin types, it might be a little harsh on sensitive skin.

This is a good option if you are looking for a budget face scrub for clear skin.

Price:-  70 INR for 50g and 110 INR for 100g

Must have meter:-

I was torn between a 6 and a 7 but I would go with 6 as this is something you need for clear skin but can also skip and opt for a natural and milder scrub

Have you tried this scrub?? How often do you use a scrub??
