Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser review
Some brands have a cult who loves the products to bits, is simply because they deserve the love. Kiehl's is one such brand, whose products are mostly hits! I have tried many of their serums, toners, creams, and so much more, safe to say I have loved using 90 per cent of the products.
When you are spending a reasonable amount of money, you would want to get the results that speak for themselves, right? With Kiehl's, I have always felt that to be true. Safe to say the Kiehl's Ultra Facial cleanser is my current skincare obsession from the brand, doesn't help that it costs a bit! But the fact that this lasts a long time is a saving grace for me!
I have already appreciated and talked about this face wash on my YouTube channel in my "How to put together a skincare routine" video.
The Kiehl's Ultra Facial cleanser has made a permanent place in my skincare routine for the last two years, and for very good reasons. The last face wash I reviewed was a while back, honestly.
Let's get into the review of the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser in my typical review format -
Price:
Currently available in a 150ml size and costs 2100 INR.
Is Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser worth the money? Read on, and keep in mind that I am reviewing the Kiehl's cleanser for my combination-sensitive skin, so that covers the review for Dry and Oily skin.
Product :
A gel-like consistency of the face cleanser makes for a great facial cleanser. Kiehl's claims that this is suitable for all skin types, and I have a combination skin which behaves differently at different times of the year, so it is a great option for face wash for me.
The gel-like texture doesn't foam up a lot, so if you feel that lots of foam is cleansing, then this may not be for you.
The product required for each use is very little, so use this judiciously.
The reason this isn't as stripping and drying is because of squalene, which helps in maintaining a moisturised feel and maintains the pH balance even after using the Kiehl's face wash.

My experience :
For my combination and sensitive skin, the Kiehl's face cleanser is amazing, because this doesn't strip away my skin's natural oils and maintains the natural moisture of my skin.
Does the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser remove makeup? Yes, it does. Light makeup which isn't water proof. This doesn't work on waterproof makeup, though.
Other emollients apart from Squalene, such as Apricot oil, make sure the skin doesn't feel dry after use and are part of a pH-balanced formula. I actually personally prefer the SLES in this face wash over SLS any day, but I like a bit of foaming, which will not be possible without at least one of these.
Overall, I would say the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser is a face wash worth buying. But if you do not have the budget, there are other alternatives you can look for. I would say give this a try, but if you'd rather not spend this much on a face wash, you are not missing out on a gem.
