DIY Recycled CD Coasters | Moonshine and Sunlight
22:53
Hello every one !!
I coincidentally came across the idea of making coasters out of CDs , the very day i was about to throw them out !!!
So , instead I took some acrylic colors out of my mother's acrylic colors collection and made these out of those!!!
The Yellow and Black one are made of Threads wrapped around it with lots and lots of glue!!
The copper one is made out of pearl color "copper" and sequins
The orange one is made out of ribbons!!
and my favorite one is this one , this is very pop and kitsch :)
Try out some of these easy coasters and save the planet !! RECYCLE!!
And these will cost you almost nothing, :)
So try out your versions
and post the link here :D
Experiment !! as always
have fun and

These are so cute. Would definitely try out the thread one!
ReplyDeleteThank you !!
DeleteI like the thread one the most too
:)
use lots and lots of glue!!
How did you manage to color the CD in pink? Would the color stay given that the CD surface is glossy
ReplyDeleteYes ,Bhakti the color stays.
ReplyDeleteBut you need to put a lot of acrylic paint on the surface (better know as fabric paint) and once it is dry do not try to put on another layer.
Put a thick layer the first time itself
and you are done!!
