Essence HEAT WAVE | Blush Up! powder blush review

When you are not into using makeup on a regular basis, some things like bronzer, blushes, highlighters, and etcetera will not be in your “Stash” in abundance! At least that’s the case with me!

I was literally scared to try on a blush thinking that I will look like Annabelle (You know what I am referring to right?)!!!!! But thankfully I didn’t look like that, when I actually gave blushes a try!

Essence HEAT WAVE | Blush Up! powder blush review

My first blush from Essence cosmetics called Heat wave is a multi-way / Multi colored blush which is set in a gradient and can be used as different colors!

The gradient starts with a coral-y orange shade on one extreme and then graduates to a pretty Barbie pink on the other side.

It looks so pretty that at first I didn’t want to use it at all! But now I have been using this for a few months and I must say that I really like it.
Since I can make out three colors out of this one blush, it is great for travelling as well! Also I can confidently say that if you use it sparsely or as and how you require, you wouldn’t end up looking like Annabelle.  *giggles*

Packaging – The blush itself is set in a gradient. It comes in a clear plastic case, which is quite sturdy if I may say! It looks sleek and is quite easy to carry.

Product –Heat wave is a powder blush without shimmers or glitter. It is a satiny matte blush so looks natural on my face. This is very easy to blend as well!

Pigmentation – In terms of pigmentation heat wave is very decent and it can build up as and how required. Since I like a very subtle touch of blush, this works fine for that!

Longevity – I have not work this blush for more than 5 hours  and in that period of time it has faded just a little bit.
