Any clothing item that has multiple tiers of fabric is kind of my sweet spot and soft spot when it comes to personal styling because I love the way a tired bottom flatters my apple shape body. The way a flowy, voluminous bottom flatters and balances out heavy chest to give an illusion of hourglass body shape is amazing.
So if I have to choose between a dress that has a lot of tiers and an A line dress I would definitely go for the one with tiers. No questions about it!
Long skirts are all the rage in 2025 and it is a delight for me because long skirts are a personal favourite for me too. Here you can see me wearing a printed skirt with with small prints and tiers on the bottom which provides the kind of shape that I was talking about and balances out the heavy upper body with the flowy lower body shape. It is the kind of comfortable yet chic outfit, you can wear for different things, be it a cafe date or work even!
My hand stack here is a precious one, as it has multiple bracelets and a necklace for the balanced out proportions.
I am wearing a basic black polo with a long skirt with tiers, a perfect combo for Apple body type. The accessories are kept very minimal with a minimal sandal and handbag, for a clean look on a rainy evening around Bangalore. A fitted polo is a perfect choice to wear with a flowy long skirt, especially for heavy chested women, or apple body type, as it looks very classy without revealing much , yet gives the illusion of a very flattering figure!
