Sebamed anti-ageing Q10 lifting eye cream review
In my 20s I had this idea about eye creams that they are a fancy product which is just like another overpriced moisturiser. That idea was quickly shattered as I entered my 30s. I was happy that I atleast started using the eye related products not too late.
Sebamed Q10 eye cream was the one I started with and honestly am still stuck to because of how much I loved the product. I have been wearing glasses for many many years and eye related products or something that I have always ignored thinking that I have dark circles or wrinkles around my eyes due to the fact that I wear glasses. But even though I know the fact why I have dark circles I have been very concious of them. And I grew a bit obsessed with them in the last few years , so I decided that SINCE I wear glasses, I must use eye creams and best decision!!
Let's get into the review of the Sebamed anti-ageing Q10 lifting eye cream
Product A lightweight and non-fragrant gel-like cream that absorbs very well with a light massage around the eye. The eye cream tends to get greasy if you apply a lot of it, especially on your skin anywhere else other than the eye area.
Price
For 15ml of the product, the eye cream is priced at 790 INR. You can purchase it from Amazon or Nykaa.
Packaging The best part about the product is how easy the application is. The eye cream comes in a tube packaging, which I prefer any day over a tub packaging. For any product, for that matter.
The spout of the tube has a pointed end, which expels just the right amount of product, making it easy for spot and precise applications, which I think is a must in an eye cream.
The thin tube is very easy to carry as well, so it makes for an easy-to-travel-with product
My experience
I have seen a significant reduction in dark circles and puffiness around my eyes with regular application and usage. I use this once a day, either in the day or at night, whatever I am feeling like that day. But even then, it has helped me with these two issues around my eyes. I most definitely use this under makeup, and I do not miss using the Sebamed eye cream on the night before an eventful day. The eye cream layers very well under other products. Doesn't make the lids greasy, even in summer. It is easy to spread and apply on the lids and under the eyes, without any pulling or tugging of the skin. The product, even though only 15 ml, lasts for months, and I think the per-use price makes it very reasonable. I like that there are no ingredients that cannot be used during the day, such as retinol, so that I can choose when to apply it, even if only once a day. Ideally, this has to be applied twice. All in all, I really quite like the product. I have only one drawback that I can see, that it doesn't work drastically on fine lines, even though it claims to be anti-ageing. Other than that, a star product.
Let me know what you think, Priyanjana
