Niacinamide Serum Review The Inkey List Niacinamide India

The brand name The Inkey List and Niacinamide when all rolled into one product is already set to be a bomb product. And I am without a doubt going to be another person on the Internet raving about the Niacinamide serum from The Inkey List. I bought this particular bottle along with a Hyaluronic acid serum, also from The Inkey list, off of the cult beauty website on a 50% sale. They sometimes have a free international shipping offer on a certain brand and on a set value of purchase, and I used the same offer to buy these products and get free shipping on a 10 GBP order.

Thankfully, the order was a small value order and I didn’t have to pay customs on this order, so I got this cult favorite for around 450 INR, and believe me when I tell you that this was a win and a steal at this price. I usually avoid buying products from international websites because I would like to avoid paying unnecessary customs.

I have been using this serum for some time now and have liked using the serum, especially during transitional weather. Let’s directly jump into this review before I give out more details.

Price –  9.99 GBP for 30 ml of product on the Cult beauty website.

Packaging – The product bottle itself comes in a recycled cardboard box packaging with details of the step this product needs to be used at. I adore the back and white minimal packaging with all details and information on the product needed for you to get started, on how to use and the ingredient list.

Now the box is pretty interesting in its way of providing all the details. It is a perforated box, which you can open up easily and read the contents of the interior of the box.

The serum itself comes in a tip-top cap packaged bottle. The bottle is a plastic bottle but it is made out of 50% recycled plastic!

Product details –

The Inkey List Niacinamide serum has a 10% concentration of Niacinamide as an ingredient and also consists of 1% Hyaluronic acid in its formulation. So there is an added boost of hydration and that is great for oily skin, which this Niacinamide serum is formulated for specifically. In the formulation, the Inkey List serum also features Squalene, and it is one of my favorite ingredients for healthy-looking hydrated skin.
The serum is a beautiful milky-colored liquid and slightly runny textured.
The Niacinamide serum from The Inkey list has no fragrance added and it smells very earthy, a bit like freshly made oats!

My experience –

Apart from the dispensing mechanism of the serum, I adore everything about it. I’ve got to address the cap issue, because you sometimes do not have control over how much quantity is dispensed, and every single time after use, I clean the cap after closing, to avoid any buildup of the product residue.

It layers well with other serums and products.

It gets absorbed quickly, but during the summers it feels slightly tacky and takes time to get absorbed.

Instantly makes my skin look nourished and healthy.

Can be used for both day and nighttime skincare.

It is fragrance–free

I stand by the brand's philosophies.

Stands true to the formulation claims

Helps calm my skin down and helps tame the redness when my skin is a bit sensitized.

However, the pros are a bit dependent on the weather as you may have guessed and that makes it easy to be used up quickly. You do not need a whole lot of the serum for an even application, although that is great if you can consistently use it, It does give rise to the problem of finishing it up within the stipulated time after opening.

And it is a bit difficult to source The Inkey List Products in India as of 2023 August, so I would suggest if you are looking for a Niacinamide serum for Combination – oily skin in India, then you can look at other options. And if you are looking at single ingredient serum, such as this Niacinamide from The Inkey List my review will be to look for other Indian brands.
