Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Ayurvedic Face Scrub Review
Kama Ayurveda is one company for whose products I like to splurge, at times. I have written about them a zillion times by now and reviewed almost all their products! Today it's time to write about the Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Face Scrub.

Their Kumkumadi oil is one of the most famous and effective facial oils in the market right now. I thought of giving the scrub a try since I cannot try the Kumkumadi oil at this age.

Packaging
As always I am in love with the outer cardboard packaging! The gold and orange packaging is so pretty and luxurious. But, the product comes in a bulky glass tub with a black screw cap. It has to be handled very carefully and is not suitable for travelling, especially if you are a klutz like me. I would have liked it more if it was a tube packaging.

But! There is the cute wooden spoon, like the one with Mridul Face cleanser, with this too!

Product -
Texture of this scrub is very creamy and has small granules. So, it is perfect for frequent use and for sensitive skin. The fragrance is very mild and nutty with hints of a beautiful fragrance of saffron. The ingredient list has some really interesting items but this is not 100% natural.

Price
995 INR for 50g ( I think the price is high, but I splurged on this because the sample lasted for a long time).

My experience -

My skin does not work very well with scrubs but it did with this. After months of using this the 50g tub has not emptied to even half. It feels very creamy and luxurious on your skin and does not feel very rough.

The scrub claims to do a lot of things like lightening spots and pigmentation, but I haven't seen anything like that so far and I was honestly not even expecting it to do anything, since it is a scrub.

This removes the dead skin effectively and leaves my skin fresh. Also, this does not dry out my skin or cause breakouts like other scrubs usually do. But, everything said and done, I cannot ignore the price. This is a pretty good product with saffron strands and all, but is a real splurge if your skin is not sensitive.

But as far as I am concerned I somehow don't regret spending almost 1k on this scrub, so I would recommend this to you if you are in a mood to spend!

Do let me know what you think about this? Have you given this a try?

Loads of love,
Priyanjana
