Iraya Kumkumadi Facial Oil Review
Facials oils have been all the rage since 2014. The Iraya Kumkumadi oil is my first facial oil and I was really excited to try this. So, here is my verdict after using this for around 2 months, continuously.

Facial oils are a little tricky to work with , so you have to take care if your skin is okay with using oils. Usually I use this after spraying a little bit of rose water on my face first.

Packaging -

The Iraya Kumkumadi Oil comes in a blue glass bottle with a dropper. The bottle is on it's own without any box or outer packaging. I actually quite like the blue bottle, but I have to be very careful because I am Miss. Butterfingers.

Product -

The oil is a very fresh/citrus smelling, light textured oil. I had been using this on n off for a while during the summers and used it continuously during the monsoon and it works best during the summers. It gets absorbed quickly and you need a little quantity for one usage.

Price - 995 INR for 10 ml

My experience -

I used this at night after cleansing and toning. Always use products with potent ingredients at night. I require 4 -5 drops of the product to work perfectly. It gets absorbed very quickly and smells divine and the fragrance lingers for sometime. I strangely sleep very well with this on. It works very good at moisturizing the skin and does not break me out. I have used this with out rose water as well and I prefer using the rose water because I feel like it works better that way.

This is one of the reasonably priced Kumkumadi oils in the market and does a pretty good work. Though it takes quite sometime to show effects, the effects are lasting. It does not work on pigmentation, but does a good job at removing dark spots and acne spots. Makes the skin very soft and smooth but I didn't notice any "glow" that people talk about after using Kumkumadi oils. I am just happy it worked on my pimple marks, to be honest!

I would highly recommend this to people with oily skin and combination skin.

Loads of love,

  3. I am a big fan of facial oils for over a year now! Love them!
I had tried the Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Oil, but it was a bit heavy for my combination skin? Is this one lighter than that? The price is pretty affordable too!
