Dip powder nails are all the rage right now! But, I haven’t jumped onto that bandwagon yet. Have to give those a try but before that I have to give the other trends a try as well, right!?

So, going with the nail trends, I have the glitter powder trend today. Reviewing the Candy Glitter powder dust from born pretty store today in shade 517A, also telling you how I did my nails!!

Indian Nail art blog , born pretty store sugar candy powder

Step by step tutorial
  • Prep your nails with a base coat.
  • After you base coat is dry, apply a base color of your choice. I opted for a sheer pearly white polish. Let it dry.
  • Now you have to work fast and I suggest work one nail at a time.
  • Apply a second layer of the base color polish and right after that sprinkle the glitter dust so that your nail is covered with it. Slightly press it in.
  • Repeat the process for all other nails.
  • Dust of the excess glitter using a fan brush (Watch this video to know where to buy it from in India)
  • Finish off with two coat of top coat.

This powder has a mix of many pastel and neon colors. So, the effect it creates is very summery and fresh and the specks of different colors make an interesting statement!
