Lakme 9 To 5 CC Color Transform Crean Review, Price |
Today I am going to talk about my go to product at the
moment, The Lakme 9 to 5 Complexion Care Color Transform Cream. First of all, I
really like the concept of “Color Transform” and this CC cream from Lakme is a long
wear product being from their 9to5 range, these two factors are enough to make
me buy the product. Now let’s see how this works for me.
Price – 325 INR
Price – 325 INR
Packaging – I like the pretty pink, metallic box the tube comes
in. The tube itself is a lot like the Lakme CC Cream Tube with the rose gold
screw cap, but the Lakme 9to5 CC color transform cream has an ombre effect on
the tube. I think going with “color transform” theme.

Product – The Product looks like a fairness cream, which initially
has no color. There are micro beads present in this is what give the color. The
fragrance is something I am not a very big fan off. I always like my daily wear
products without any sort of fragrance. Perfumed products are not my thing, but
that’s a personal choice. The CC cream also has a SPF 30, so I can skip using
sunscreen separately during winters! Yay!
Shades – The number of shades available is the only disappointing
factor. The two Shades available are Beige and Bronze. Beige is suitable for
very light skin tones and bronze is good for medium/wheatish skin tones. I use
Bronze and it is still quite light for me, but since the product oxidizes a
bit, it matches up with my complexion.
My Experience -
My combinations skin is very difficult to work with because it behaves very weirdly at times. But this CC cream seems to be working fine on my T zone, it gets a little bit dry on the dry areas of my face {Combination skins problems!}. It hides minute imperfections and spots but not pigmentation or dark spots. It takes a while to transform into the shade that matches your skin and stays put for 5 - 6 hours easily.
The CC creams keeps you looking fresh and glowing and that is the best part about it.But, since it is not build-able, I would not recommend this to you if you are looking for a higher coverage. Although, You can always mix a drop of Foundation with this for higher coverage if you like.

My skin hates BB and CC creams. I just stay away from them completely.
ReplyDeleteHahah, really !?
DeleteMy skin isn't too fond of BB and CC creams either, makes me look pasty. I usually don't wear any foundation or anything but sometimes when in the mood, I mix primer, moisturizer and foundation and apply with a brush.
ReplyDeleteOh ! That is a nice and quick way to work
DeleteA color transforming cream sounds interesting. Will give it a try as I love light, dewy finishes...

It gives a glowy matte finish , not exactly a dewy finish . But a little bit of highlighter will do the trick
DeleteThe shades look quite pinky. I don't know why there are not enough shades for dusky girls in India
ReplyDeleteThat is my problem as well!
DeleteI am not fond of Lakme Base makeup in general. Haven't had a good experience so far. I love my Ponds BB cream a lot :)
ReplyDeleteOh! Really ? what went wrong ?
DeleteI have used the Lakme CC cream during early days of my makeup and it was good but somehow after I started using foundation, it didn't quite liked it..
ReplyDeleteYeah, CC cream is best for a quick "make me look presentable" look , but for more coverage foundations are best
DeleteI had given up on Indian BB and CC creams because all of them are so sub-standard. This one looks quite good.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually pretty good
