Lotus Colour Dew Nail enamel in Brownie Glaze (84) Swatch and Review || Toluene and DBP Free

Lotus Colour Dew Nail enamel in Brownie Glaze (84) Swatch and Review

Since, I promised that I will be writing the pending posts first, I am trying to stick to that promise.
I bought a Nail polish from Lotus Herbals from their Colour Dew Range in March, online, just to reach a minimum amount to get "free delivery" :P .

While Buying , I didn't even see the color and bought it because that was the only one available, but when I received and saw the shade, I fell in love with it! I bought this shade along with my disco ball nail color !

Brownie Glaze is a beeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaauuttifullll Terra Cotta color , which would look lovely against Indian skin tones.

Shade: - A burnt orange shade which looks completely like terracotta color.
Brush: - I really like the medium width of the brush and the handle is really long which eases the application.
Longevity: -  This stays chip free for 3-4 days.Takes a little time to dry.
Pigmentation :- Very good! I am wearing only one coat of polish on two of my fingers! Can you spot!?
Finish :- It is really glossy and the pictures vouch for that! The glossy finish stays on for a long time around two whole days.
Packaging :- I really like the packaging of these polishes and the handle is BAE ( Okay, I used the word!, I didn't want to ,but it just poped up in my mind!)

Now, coming to the Toluene and DBP free part, DBP - dibutyl phthalate , formaldehyde and toluene are used for purposes like making the nail polish flexible, hardening nails , etc, etc. But the nail polishes without these are considered as "safer nail polishes" for us and also for the Eco system.

This polish in not 3-FREE, but at least two of these harmful ingredients are not present in it.
I would answer the question  "Why one should avoid nail polishes with the BIG 3 ? " in a post related to harmful chemicals in our cosmetics, soon.
I would love to try more shades from this range and since it is a polish Made in India , I would totally try more shades! ;)

Price :- 110 INR for 8ml

At this price and quality , I would totally recommend this !
By the way, did you check out this week's MONDAY and WEDNESDAY  posts ??

Have you tried these polishes?? Which shade would you recommend me to try !?
