Celebrate the Spark that you are this Diwali!

Everyone will agree with me, this is the best time of the year! Everyone around is usually in a Festive spirit! In this atmosphere everyone lights up with happiness. Even the men dress up a bit, and we take out our heavy weight ammunition! Or as I like to call it, glorious Indian ethnic outfits.

This year I wanted to put a little twist on the dressing up in Indian attires, and who better to look to for pretty Indian attires which suit the taste of a millennial like me, than Indya!
Indya from Fab alley has always been go to brand for Indian attires for special occasions.

I picked a front slit Kurta with foil prints on it! Love how the coral looks on me and how the gold foil prints compliment the color! I paired it up with a silk pant in a gold color, since it is a front slit kurta. I want to wear this with a lehenga and I am sure it will look great. I picked the kurta from their diwali collection for 2018! I think they have the perfect options for Diwali dresses for us girls, that aren't too heavy on the pocket.

Adding gold to everything this season

Diwali Outfit from Indya!
But, dressing up is incomplete with the perfect accessory and they also took care of that, I received these super versatile earrings with my order and I was stressing about what to wear with my outfit before that.

A few things about the Diwali 2018 that you should keep in mind if you want to dress up in a minimal fashion -

  • Opt for foil prints, instead of heavy sequin embroideries.
  • Go for a fusion look if you are going to move out a lot, like pants with your Kurtis, instead of sarees or lehengas.
  • Go for a minimal accessory look, with not more than two types of jewelry.
  • Opt for a sling bang to keep your important stuff and the cash you will from all those Card  games :)
  • Wear a pretty, pretty smile, worth a 1000 watts!

This diwali I plan on having loads of fun with my friends, light up my house and just light one sparkler!

Have loads of fun,
Love,
Priyanjana
