Hola!!
It has been long since I just jotted down a post, and put it out there. Tonight, It is going to be such a post. I have been blogging for quite sometime now. This October will be the 5th time that I will renew my domain, so yeah, quite sometime. A lot of bloggers and PR professionals I meet these days give me a surprised look, when I tell them that I have been blogging for almost 5 years. Which is understandable, since most bloggers who have been in the blogosphere for this long have either grown a lot, others have taken a pause or stopped altogether and moved on with their respective professions. There are very few like me who are somewhere in the between, continuing on , somewhere in the middle.

The surprised look always gets to me, because the underlying sentiment, which they have, even I will have if I were them, is that , "Hmmm, she is not that Big being a 5 year old blogger". I admit , I am not. Because, of multiple reasons but that's not relevant.

I started doing this because I enjoyed doing this {all of that 'this' is} and have continued this. But you know what, I have not been enjoying ANY of it lately. The rat race this has become, the number game it has become, has led to a loss of excitement, at-least for me. I have been irregular, needless to point out, but yeah.

"you know what, I have not been enjoying ANY of it lately. "

I realized something that was a hard pill to swallow for me. The reason I do not enjoy it anymore is not only because of the loss of excitement, but the fact that "loss of excitement" is due to me trying to fit in where I do not belong. Yup, I am not saying blogging isn't for me, but whatever I am doing at this point is not "ME". And, doesn't that defeat the purpose altogether. I started out to put my views, my experiences, my thoughts, myself out there, but I got lost in all the glitz.....

What I do enjoy is dressing up comfortably, creating wearable looks with clothes I buy on sales. By wearable I mean, the outfits I feel comfortable wearing in any mode of transport and by clothes I buy on sale I mean 90% of my closet. Judge me all you want!

" I mean 90% of my closet. Judge me all you want! "

I shop sales, and mostly sales. I rarely buy something at a full price. Not very typical fashion blog of me? Yeah, I know. But, that how it is. For example the outfit I am wearing here costs 700 INR in total, sans the shoes and watch. yep, just 700 rupees. All bought from brands I like, nothing off the street shopping paradise sorta places!

So yeah, I guess I will work around what I do best and change my blog accordingly and I am happy that I am starting somewhere with this blog post! Let me know in the comments what you think about this outfit!
